Reconnaissance International has strengthened its operations in North America with the appointment of Randall Burgess as VP, Americas.

Randall comes to Reconnaissance with 20 years experience in brand protection, product security, and logistical security. His career has been spent  in business development, new product commercialization, and complex project management supporting North American and global companies, with key industries of expertise including printing, electronics, pharmaceuticals, luxury products, and automotive. Previous positions have been held with UNC-Greensboro, Acheson Colloids, Advanced Silicon Materials, Spraylat and, most recently tesa scribos, where he was Business Development Manager.

Randall's  primary focus with Reconnaissance is on developing and maintaining key relationship in the authentication and product security user and supplier community. Specific responsibilities include the secretariat function of the International Authentication Association (IAA), consultancy for brand owners and providers, and management of the company's pharmaceutical anticounterfeiting and product authentication publications and events.
